congrats to making it to double octo-finals; 3-0 for negative; Harrington: a lot of the debate begins with the ontology debate -- the neg has a lot of great analysis for hyper-reality and ontology; our evidence does not answer their "cruel optimism" arguments -- leads to bad psychological impacts in putting faith in the political system; FW debate (their fiat = white arguments that makes us believe we did something, when we didn't; also the debaters become coaches) say that debate is a game and expand upon that -- which team is better at critiquing and dismantling white hyper-reality; they have solid links

Rosenbaum: default to evaluate to the nexus question that the 2AC makes -- not answered by any affirmative speech; black terror alt is good; fatal flaw was being able to combat the ontology debate and their theory of power (believing that the neg's theory of power is not contested) -- Gilespie evidence + Wang as a terminal case takeout: shows how carceral system is greater than what the aff attempts to solve --

Davis: agree with other two judges; the biggest issue was that we don't give them enough pushback on the permutation -- the DAs to the perm go unanswered by the K -- cross-apply the state inevitable cards to the DAs -- we need to show that ceding the political makes hyper-reality worse for black people -- we need to answer the nexus question of the debate -- there is no harm that establishes a nexus question in the 1AC -- we need to take control of the nexus question in the 1AC as a preempt to a team that will outspread you with 3 off that can be cross-applied onto each other and consolidated.
