was flooding from the ceiling while water was gushing through the pot lights. Brian's
first thought about the tenant upstairs falling or being electrocuted. He ran up to Jami
Zwicker's apartment door entrance, knocked hard several times while calling her name.
Brain came downstairs to wake me up because she refused to open the door. I went through
the water running to Jami's entrance door, saw that it was ajar, while
yelling this is an emergency several times, calling her name as well. Finally she entered her
kitchen yelling, "get the F... out of my house". I repeated that this was an emergency and she
repeated again, "get the F... out of my house" screaming her lungs out. I felt very frightened.
My feet never went into her house, my head was reaching through her doorway....again I said
this was an emergency, and she continued to scream. I closed the door and called the landlord
who came immediately. I never thought of calling 911 to report the flooding or electrical fire
concerns, but afterthought, I probably should have.
I want this complaint formally on file due to the way Jami Zwicker responded to me directly
during this emergency.
I have been so emotionally upset due to her over bullying power she has demonstrated as a
neighbour and knowingly working as a volunteer fire fighter. This, in my opinion, is totally
unacceptable. I am fearful to go back because of my home being below Jami and have
not slept at my home since August 24th. Jami reacted this way to the fact I said it was an
emergency.....what would have happened if it had been a fire!!
FYI, Brian and Joanne are downstair tenants and Jami is an upstair tenant. We (Joanne Davison and Brian
Marr) purchased this home at 2490 Ronald Road, closing was to be August 12th, has been changed to
September 15th due to Jami refusing to move on her tenancy notice of July 31st.
