A few years ago ... We are in a class in high school. The teacher sometimes used English words in his sentences while lecturing. Then Yasin raised his finger and asked permission to speak.
Teacher; "Here's Yasin." said. Yasin stood up and started speaking in languages ​​we did not know. After making a few sentences, he said "Thank you for listening to me" to the teacher and the students in the class, sat down, opened a book in front of him and started reading. The teacher asked Yasin to stand up and say the things in Turkish which he said. Yasin: "Even though our class is a science high school class, it cannot speak and understand English well. I asked you questions about the subject you have just taught in the lesson, in different sentences from the languages ​​I know. However, I see that you cannot understand anything from what I said. that was exactly what you did before. " We were all surprised. Because he was the person who knew English best in the classroom and participated in English lessons the most. We were surprised that Yasin did such a thing instead of someone else. After a few seconds of silence, our teacher said, " I'll teach as i want , who the hell are you to judge me?". Yasin said "I'm a student studying Republic of Turkey Ministry of National Education in schools. State's and the ministry's course modus operandi has been writing clearly in the decree on the constitution and of law. No law or decree law states that a different language can be used in the operation of courses other than language courses. On the contrary, it was specifically stated that the lessons will be taught in Turkish. The Republic of Turkey is a unitary state and has a single language. This language is Turkish. What you are doing is clearly circumventing laws and rules. This is your crime as a public servant. I just wanted to point out that. Before I end my words, I would like to say the following words of Mr. Oktay Sinanoğlu, who was a professor at a young age: "When speaking Turkish, putting words in half English is not ingenuity, but a sign of lack of identity and dignity"." After Yasin said his words, the teacher said, "Get out, rude!" he threw Yasin out of the lesson. A few minutes later, Yasin entered the classroom with the school principal. Yasin went straight to his seat and sat down. Before the teacher could say anything, the principal turned to the teacher and said: "Our student has just made a few complaints about you. They say what you do is clearly a crime. We made a report for this and we will apply the necessary administrative penalties against you. But first, we need the testimony of a student from the class. Who wants to testify?" Everyone in the class held up their fingers. The headmaster accepted my testimony and got my signature. I turned to the teacher and said: "Dear ... This is a state institution and the most preferred and important institution of the state. A Science High School! You know better than us that there is a very different system here than in other schools. While this is the case, it is unacceptable that you are doing this." After the teacher and principal left the classroom, everyone asked Yasin "What did you say, what languages ​​did you speak?" On the other hand, Yasin modestly said, "I just had a few questions in my head about the subject the teacher was telling, I just asked for them." I got together with Yasin a few days ago. I remembered this memory and asked those questions again. Yasin smiled and replied: "Is it very important?" I insist. Finally he replied: "Turkish, English, Greek, Arabic and Persian". In fact, my purpose in telling the story was not to offend the teacher. It was that clever move that Yasin did here. He criticized the teacher in a very harsh way both ways and waited for the teacher to ask what he said. Yasin made an aggressive and thoughtless teacher leave our school with his actions. Everything he says and does is actually very cleverly planned. It was also very impressive that he could speak several languages ​​so fluently and quickly. I admire his intelligence.
