Ch. 20
* 5 hour journey to London, Pip arrives at midday
* "while I was scared by the immensity of London, I think I might have had some faint doubts whether it was not rather ugly, crooked, narrow, and dirty."
* Mr. Jaggers's address is Little Britain
* Pip gives the coachman a shilling and no more. The coachman knows Jaggers and seems to be a bit afraid of him
* Dismal office with two heads that creep Pip out into leaving
* He meets a drunk minister of Justice at Newgate Prison and is sickened that this is what London is like
* A lot of people waiting for Jaggers that he all dismisses quite rudely
* Jaggers tells Pip to live at Barnard's Inn until Monday and then go to Herbert's father's house, also Pip has an allowance

Ch. 21
* description of dry Mr. Wemmick with his dull-chiesel face and postoffice mouth and mourning rings
* Wemmick takes Pip to Barnard's Inn and he is disappointed by the dinginess
* "I put out my hand, and Mr. Wemmick at first looked at it as if he thought I wanted something. Then he looked at me, and said, correcting himself, ‘To be sure! Yes. You’re in the habit of shaking hands?’"
* Mr. Pocket finally arrives with strawberries and Pip is shocked and feels he is dreaming
* Herbert introduces the house

* Also Estellas adopted and was raised to break hearts Ima tell you holup
* (bruh also Matthew Pocket is her cousin how did I miss that completely last time ._.)
* Pip doesn't think herberts gonna be successful for some reason
* "ima call you handel uwu"
* The feast is delightful to Pip bc he's in London and there's no old ppl around
* While reminding Pip of his manners, Herbert tells the story of Ms Havisham
* Basically her mom died and her dad, a rich gentleman brewer, spoiled her and then married his cook and gave her a half brother
* This brother was an extravagant rascal and got disowned but his dad still left him a good amount of money as he died
* He hated Miss Havisham, she went off and fell in love with a man who convinced her to buy her brother's share
* Mr. Pocket tried to talk some sense into her but she kicked him out
* Then Miss Havisham got dumped via letter at 20 minutes to 9 and went mad
* Apparently the brother was involved in the cruel scheme
* Both Herbert and Pip believe Miss Havisham is the benefactor, also Herbert isn't jelly and he wants to be ‘A capitalist - an Insurer of Ships.’
* a bunch of verbiage that I don't ever remember reading
* on Monday they get to the Pocket home, the children are tumbling up, the servants (Millers and Flopson) run the whole house, Ms Pocket is disinterested and everybody keeps tripping over her footstool
* Mr. Pocket is a perplexed, gray-haired gentleman

* Jaggers seems not to like his job, he thoroughly washes his hands of the clients
