It's better to succeed individually or as part of a team .Because I think that's how it works .When people work together and try their best they achieve something. But if one person in a group don't feel like winning and just not want to work it out they won't win. Although many believe that just for having the best things from around the world and try thrive for it wouldn't work. For example you want to be a basketball player you bought everything you needed, but you also need the skills to play basketball its not always about what you have its about what you need.
I think a team will succeed because they want to play and win you can play for fun but also for the win, but if your just doing it because someone told you too they won't win a bad attitude is like a disease. People or players start to feel bored and stop caring about what they have to do they're motivation goes down like hot food in front of a fan getting cold no one will want to play anymore. In the book "The Outsiders" when they are all about to fight they send the biggest being Darry to the front to start it but pony boy's courage was disappearing by the second because he was regretting scared about his other friend in the hospital that is minutes away to die spoiler alert Johnny dies but they were all angry and were so stubborn to fight that they didn't think of their health.
That's why Babe Ruth believed that a team could be great only if its individual players were willing to play together. And wrote 'It's the way a team plays as a whole that determines its success.
