If I am in TX next quarter, definitely go inactive since no exchanges or real parties or women, assuming i can always slide by the house to hang out and drink and party. contact luke first ofc though to check how viable being inactive is, since i wouldn't want it like pledging where i am not known of whats going on and when to come.

GOOGLE PHOTOS: WHAT NOW? Photos not that important to me
Option 1: Continue using my current phone and whatever phone i get in the future. Get a google pixel OG and set it to manually backup originals for me for free for life. It will always be plugged in and doing it. Can get instructions online.

Option 2: Get a google pixel 4 XL in July. Yeah i only want to upgrade after selling or old one no longer works but i will make exception because this is for free google photos, my lg v40 has pink line and cracks and by july (when photos get shut down) it will be pretty used up, the pixel 4 will be pretty dirt cheap by the time i get it, and as long as i still have my old tech that i am upgrading from i do not consider it full waste as well, i still have my old stuff i bought. (Means: Make sure i still got my lg v20 and lg v40). Also ill be out of school by that time and my willingness to have an iPhone is much lower. And the pixel will still be an overall upgrade over the lg v40 as well. Eventually when i retire the pixel 4xl in years down the line, i will use it like the mentioned setup above for the Google pixel OG and have it manually back up high quality shots for life.

Option 3: Pick up an External SSD for backing up both my phone and pc too. That is better choice then backing up to PC since PC is a "Device" itself so i do not consider it much as permanent storage and the PC is much more subject to failure. Windows automatic backup. But no real way to backup to

Option 4: Suck it up and pay

Option 5: Use UC Davis Google account but i do not know how reliable it will be after graduating.

Option 6: use 15GB free and only save photos from camera and snapchat. Also helps me clear up shit i really do not need. I really only need stuff i take pictures of and snapchat. Also to a lesser degree, stuff i save in messaging apps and screenshots for reference.
