It is expected that this report will document the background studies in details, including constraints and main alternatives of the problem and solution. The report should also include the proposed solution, how the solution differs from the existing approaches, and how it addresses the various constraints of the problem. The following items are expected for Interim Report I:
• An introduction which contains a clear statement of the aims and objectives of your project, including:
o Problem definition & scope
o Problem significance & motivation
• Literature review with appropriate references:
o Major alternatives of the problem
o Current status and limitation
This will set your project in a context of the current state of the art in your subject domain and will help you to justify and explain the importance of your project work.
• Preliminary design, solution, and system
• Plan and schedule for detailed implementation and testing
• Monthly logs must be attached

1. Report Introduction

This interim report would first give a brief project aims and objectives in the beginning. Then, the definition, scope, signification, motivation and alternatives of problem would be encountered. After that, the current status and limitation, preliminary design, solution and system would be depicted. The plan and schedule for detailed coding and testing would also be attached. Finally, monthly logs and the reference would be listed in this interim report as well.
