Sharon, I know right now you're probably saying what the hell is this? Well, you know that I have always been better at communicating on paper then verbally, so that is what I am doing. In hopes to get it all out and help you understand everything.

I have taken this time to really get in my head and think things over and try to figure out what is the best thing to do. I heard everything you said to me about helping out with the business and making the changes needed to get yourself right and also us right and not using me as a bunching bag anymore. I have sat and thought about the last 22 years we have put into this and this last crappy year we have had. We have worked hard to get where we are today and it took a lot of sweat and tears.

Having said that I cannot get past a major obstacle that once again I feel as though I have had thrown at me as if I’m the worst person on the planet. Don’t get me wrong, I know I’m not perfect by any means but you stated I gaslighted you and you were quite adamant that I did this to you. I had to look it up.. That is a form of mental abuse and says so right in the description. I cannot believe you could even conceive that I would mentally abuse you. I never even thought that about you and you used me as a mental punching bag when you're mad. I’m not looking for greener pastures either btw. I’m not even sure yet what it is I'm seeking other than finding myself through it all. I know that I love you but not the way you want me to. I tried to get that feeling back again but I can’t seem to find it. I don’t want to come back for all the wrong reasons and promises. I would want to come back because I was in love with you and knew I could work it out. However, I just don’t feel the way you do. For that I am truly sorry. You will never know how hard this was for me to admit to you and I don’t want to cause further harm, anger, anguish, or anything. I am hoping that one day we can find a way to be friends as I would like to see our dog without fighting but I get it.
