Scene 1: At home
Voice: HEY WAKE UP

Witness: Whyyyyy.....
Sees older brother
Oh it’s you... I’m getting up, calm down

Older Brother: You better be

Witness: Alright leave me alone now please

Older brother leaves and witness gets dressed

At school

Friend 1: Hey

Witness: Hi

Friend 2: Can you come over here a minute

Friend 2: Alright so, basically we’re in a gang and we think you should join

Witness: WHAT!

Friend 1: Shhhhhhh someone will here you!We think you would be a good asset to our gang because you’re very athletic and smart

Witness: Wa - this... this is messed up, I gotta go

Friend 1 grabs his arm

Friend 2: You better not tell anybody about this...or...well...we’ll let you think about that yourself

Friend 1 and Friend 2 walk away

Witness to himself: What just happened!?
Oh my gosh
What are they gonna do to me if I tell someone?
What would have happened if I said yes?
I can’t think about this right now, I’m going to class

Scene 2: After school, Witness is walking home

Murderer 1: We got him!

Murderer 2: Hah serves him right he shouldn’t have messed with us

Witness pokes his head around the corner to see what’s going on and he sees a body on the floor and his two friends from earlier stood over it

Witness: *gasps*

Murderer 2: What was that?

Murderer 1: Hold on.....This isn’t him...

Murderer 2: You’re not saying....

Murderer 1: WE GOT THE WRONG GUY
We need to get out of here NOW

They leave and Witness manages to get away and home safely without them seeing him

At home

Mum: Witness where have you been! It’s late! You should of been home an hour ago!

Dad: You better have a good excuse for being this late, its your grandma’s birthday!

Grandma: Come on now John he’s a teenager now and you can’t say you were always home on time when you were a younger. Plus, I don’t mind one bit!

Dad: Alright, I’ll let you off this time, but if this happens again you’ll be grounded for a week, understand?

Witness: Ummm... yeah dad.... I understand

Mum: Are you ok sweetie? You look like you’ve seen a ghost

Witness: Yeah I’m fine it’s just really cold outside

Mum: Alright well go get changed and come downstairs so we can have dinner

Whilst witness is getting ready he thinks back on when he saw his friends standing over that body and what they said to him earlier

Witness in his head: Come to think of it, that guys kind of looked like me! Long-ish dark hair, green eyes, same black and white bag and same Adidas hoodie! What if they were looking for me and trying to kill me?! They did say they got the wrong person and earlier when I said no to joining their gang they seemed pretty mad.

Witness: That could of been me....

Mum, shouting from downstairs: Hurry up and come downstairs hun!

Witness, shouting back: Coming mum!

Scene 3: The next day at lunch time in school

Timmy: Hey! Did you hear about what happened yesterday?

Classmate 1: No, what happened?

Tommy: Apparently some kid got stabbed while walking home and died

Classmate 1: Omg that’s so scary, I’m glad it wasn’t me

Classmate 2: Yeah.....
he turns to witness
I heard it was on the path that you take school, did you see anything?

Witness: Oh hi! yeah umm... no I didn’t see anything...

Timmy: It must be so hard for his family to deal with what’s going on

Tommy: I know, I can’t imagine what I would do without you!

Timmy: I can’t imagine what I would do without you too!
