What is teacher's scholarship programme (TSP)?
-4 years bachelors degree @ NIE (teaching workforce); study content in your major comparable to any other degree (if u had studied a major in Uni)
Lessons are split into 3 (Academic studies (ALL content in field); Curriculum studies (Current syllabus you will teach as a teacher) ; Education studies)
So WHY TSP?
*graduate with Bachelor of Arts/Science
*smooth transition from student to teacher
*lets you transition to the workforce earlier
*start thinking like a teacher earlier, build tools to engage students and get attention, understand classroom dynamics
*small baby class size, yay interaction woohoo
*since NIE is with NTU, you can easily take elects and CCAs in NTU
*low-risk teaching opportunities to interact with other students
*wah wah 来来 international practicum SIK
*internships to education-related but NOT teaching opportunities: go to schools and experience teaching
VS
-6 years via PGDE route where you study major at Unis like NUS, then take 2 years in Singapore's teaching training programme

3. what subjects do i want to teach?
4. ask mum about MOE teaching experience
5. Ask Qiyuan about NIE and the teaching track and timeline (from NS to Uni and Career)
6. try teaching internship, tuition, relief teaching
7. Take PSC Scholarship?
8. see if there are any available teaching internships to teach after NS
9. apply for NIE and NTU through TSP directly multiple times! (since I am going NS)
