-ALSO trumpet and other winds are more melodic...I tend to feel unsatisfied with some guitar stuff because they're chords...arguably the part of the song I pay attention to the least
-don't feel like you HAVE to be in any wind top thing, you can do fine with the one right below that and some extracurriculars
-I don't blame you, but the talk yesterday awoke something inside me
-now I worry about whether I've sealed my fate or not

Why do I want to play again? I'm a little unsatisfied with the chord-heavy stuff I've got going for myself right now. I liked breathing into my instrument if that makes any sense. Obviously each has their own niches in music, but I miss the classical/jazz songs based around nice melodies rather than the (also fun to play) "popular rock" songs. When video games are feeling boring or hollow, music seems to be another great outlet as I've discovered. In addition to that, it's a gift I can give to other people. Like I said, it has its own place, because while guitars and pianos appear a lot more in popular music than classical instruments, I have a very good understand of music to which I can appreciate more classical "wind" instruments. Especially since I'm an avid listener of video game music.
