Contemporary examples - America's always about these things (race, gender, class, etc.). What are their natures now? Do we still have a Cold War going on? Or China? Do we still have technological issues? Immigration? Are these still issues?

2. Historical perspective/component (issues covered in class- textbook, reader, lectures, videos)
3. Contemporary examples ([questions above]) (how the issues are discussed in different media NOW: this is the only place you've cited)
4. Scholarly presentation, 1st person
You can do the different sections (emotional, historical, contemporary), weave it in a narrative, or do it by issue (race, etc.)
Think about it. Take some time. Spend time organizing (what are the major points of the film I want to highlight)
If the plot details are not needed/related, GET RID OF THEM. (You might have to revise your paper a couple of times!)
