➪personality: gil is a kind soul. he tries his hardest to be polite and consider the feelings of others and respond accordingly, regardless of the situation, yet... he’s rather untimely. the man lacks patience and oftentimes accidentally butts into conversations with his own ideas and input. gil struggles to stay seated and is a rather hyper individual. he has lots of ideas and big plans for the future that he feels he’s been suppressed from expressing. gil is definitely one who’s able to carry an entire conversation by himself. he’s talkative and quite eloquent, actually. the man has a way with words, even when he doesn’t intend to. he can just be explaining what he had for breakfast, yet he’ll word it in a way that makes it sound like the last supper. that aside, gil is also very susceptible to peer pressure. if someone tells him to do something, it’s very likely that he’ll comply, even if it’s not necessarily the wisest option. he thrives on the approval of others.
➪looks: standing at 5’8, gil can be described as your average guy. he has dark brown, almost black wavy, messy hair that hangs down to his always flushed cheeks. his eyes are a deep soulful brown and his eyebrows just above are well trimmed with a slight, soft arch. gil has a bright, happy smile that reaches his eyes and his teeth are crooked and have many irregular gaps. gil’s lips are soft and bow-shaped and usually a little glossy from the chapstick he carries on his person. facial structure aside, gil is a standard mesomorph. he doesn’t have very much muscle mass, and is actually a bit on the bony side, but he usually wears layers to make up for it.

➪History: gil comes from your average, lower class family. his parents were never very fortunate regarding profession and wealth and from a young age gil had to help out. he got a job when he was just a preteen and worked very hard along with his two siblings to provide for his family. gil dreamed of a normal life and a simple job - settling down with someone and having kids - but his parents wanted him to go above and beyond. so, gil worked hard in school and placed high. gil always did what his parents desired. in his experience, his parents are always right. they created him - they provide him with food and shelter, after all. so, when his parents suggested he take ap classes, he did. when his parents suggested he become a veterinarian, he did. and when his parents suggested he join the selection, he did...
