samantha mcclain/sam - 12 y/o. lesbian and ace. ran away from her abusive household when she was 12. doesnt really know her brother/mother bc they left her life when she was really young. her dad is super rich but was very neglectful of her. she lived on the streets for two years before getting caught and getting placed into foster care. she found a magical ring that was her mothers and wanting to get "closer to her" , or kinda thinking she wanted to, the ring sort of fused with her skin and is slowly infecting her lol. shes aggressive and not very nice/only trusting towards her friends. has a crush on skylar and psyches cousin

skylar/sky - 13 y/o. lesbian. adoptive daughter of a bitter old man inventor who slowly comes to care for her. she's rlly smart and is able to invent/make just about anything, and also made mechanical wings for herself. canonly the leader of a revolution/figurehead from a rlly young age but here is just a kid. teaches sam how to accept herself and is one of the few ppl who believes in her.

luna o'malley - 14 y/o. bi and trans. younger sister of lucky, whose a werewolf. shes a witch/upcoming witch that takes care of him and is one of the few "friends" he has. she wants to get out in the world and explore, but lucky is v protective of her and refuses. she eventually dies by accident.

arthur ourano - 8 y/o. doesnt rlly care about sexuality stuff bc hes still young. nobody rlly knows his real family/parents/siblngs but he says hes an alien. he has a weird gravity power thing going on. very adventurous and bold. adoptive son of a woman named porter and adoptive brother of psyche. looks up to gabe and doesnt really understand the concept of death.
