Hey guys sethly here back with another apex legends video. I hope you're all having a fantastic day, in this video I wanted to cover some teasers that can be found around olympus as well as some statements made by Manny Hagopian, the lead writer at Respawn for apex legends. Before I get into it, i wanted to apologize for not having a video the past two days, youtube was acting really weird and ive been pretty busy but I want to thank you guys all for the support on the videos recently its been amazing, thank you guys so much but I wanted to see if we could reach a like goal of 2 thousand likes on this video. So if you have played enough of Olympus, by now you might have seen something you recognize from Worlds Edge and Kings Canyon, If you don't know what im talking about. In the past, with the underground vaults and hatches in season 5, on Kings Canyon, Respawn used these small screens to tease the hatches opening and Respawn also used these teaser screens across worlds edge and kings canyon again in season 6. Im sure you remember, these screens were all over the map and eventually became Horizon's repulsor tactical teaser. Good news is, these teaser screens have been located on Olympus.

Ill show one on screen right now, its located in Carrier at the front near the main control panel with a nessy on top. As you can see the teaser screen says Inactive, obviously signaling the fact that it will become active at some point in the future, just like they have in the past. I was also able to find one more located near the rift at the middle of the map. Ill show it on screen right now and as you can see its pointing directly at the rift, while the other teaser was pointed directly at a big monitor with an advertisement on it. So im not sure how those two things correlate, however, I saw on reddit that someone said there are actually 7 different locations with these teaser monitors. Now, I have only been able to find these two, so if you have seen any others make sure to let me know where you say them down in the comment section below. Some have speculated that since one of the teasers is pointing directly at a screen then at some point later in the season when the teaser activates, it could play a video on screen however the other one I found doesnt have a screen so It could activate an entirely different type of teaser or event. Well, someone asked a pretty interesting question on the Respawn reddit AMA and Manny Hagopian, lead writer at Respawn replied with something that Im pretty sure has to do with these teasers that can be found through out olympus.

The redditor said "Does the writing team have any lore explanation as to why the Olympus we have is so different from the Olympus we've (presumably) seen in all of the trailers and in-game loading screens during S4/5? And if Loba was it's inhabitant up until she joined the games, how does that fit into the current lore of it being uninhabited for a rather long time? Or was she living on Psamathe and not in Olympus? I've heard someone saying that this is indeed Olympus in it's entirety, but I just don't really think there's any reason that forces us to go with that explanation, and it would be better for this to be just a part of a bigger metropolis. I might be wrong though." He brought up a lot of good points there so Manny replied with a statement from Ashley Reed who is a Senior Writer, she said

"Olympus can actually shift and transform thanks to its advanced computer systems, so some structures might not be there that were before. However, it's possible that some areas folks thought were on Olympus are actually somewhere else . . . As for Loba, she has lived all over! When she was a child, her parents traveled a lot to avoid anyone who took issue with their business, and she kept at it as she grew up. She's been to Olympus, Psamathe, and a lot of other planets, but she doesn't stay in any one place for long." Now I don't know about you guys, but based on that statement It really does make me think that these teaser screens will activate something later on in the season that causes olympus to change and transform, thus moving many parts of the map and causing a huge map update. Another redditor replied saying that he knew it and "the whole map seemed almost modular in that pieces can move and swap" Which obviously sounds amazing for lore and gameplay as well. Of course, this isnt confirmed or official at all but it is what I think will happen and I think this speculation and theory is pretty good especially since the writers at respawn even hinted towards it.
