Alan: FIBA standartlarına göre 28 m x 15 m'dir.
Basketbol Topu:Çevresi yaklaşık 75–78 cm, ağırlığı 600-650 gram kadardır.
KURALLAR:
+Her takım 5 kişiden oluşur ve takımların sınırsız oyuncu değişikliği hakkı vardır
+Oyuncular iki durumda cezalandırılır:
-Bireysel kural ihlalleri,
-Faul yapılan durumlar.
+Basketbol müsabakaları üç hakem tarafından yönetilir
+10 dakikalık 4 periyottan oluşur
+ Her takım ilk 3 periyotta ve uzatma periyodunda birer dakikalık 1,dördüncü periyotta 2 mola hakkına sahiptir.
+2. ve 3. periyot arası 15 dakikalık devre arası verilir.Diğer periyotlar arası 2 dakika ara verilir.
+Hücum eden takım, kendi sahasını 8 saniye içinde terk etmek, 24 saniye içinde de hücumunu tamamlamak zorundadır, aksi halde top kullanma hakkı rakip takıma geçer.
