เหตุผลที่เลือกอาชีพนี้
ส่วนตัวผมคิดว่าธุรกิจต่างๆนั้นผู้บริหารมีความจำเป็นต้องใช้ข้อมูลที่สำคัญในการนำไปใช้ในการตัดสินใจ ซึ่งถ้ามีข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์ก็จะช่วยให้ธุรกิจก้าวไปข้างหน้าได้ดี ส่วนความคิดเห็นที่ผมมีต่ออาชีพนี้ ผมคิดว่าเป็นอาชีพที่มีความยั่งยืนในอนาคตอย่างแน่นอนเพราะทุกๆวันนี้ข้อมูลข่าวสารสามารถเข้าถึงได้อย่างง่ายดาย แต่ก็ต้องมีผู้ที่สามารถวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่มีขนาดใหญ่หรือ Big data เพื่อทำให้เป็นข้อมูลที่ผ่านการวิเคราะห์แล้วและนำไปประกอบการตัดสินใจของผู้บริหารต่อไป
ลักษณะของอาชีพ
จะเน้นการใช้ Big Data เกี่ยวกับข้อมูลของผู้บริโภคหรือของลูกค้ามาใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ ทำความเข้าใจความต้องการของผู้บริโภค โดยเริ่มจากการตีความโจทย์ธุรกิจ เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลพื้นฐาน และเลือกใช้เครื่องมือในการวิเคราะห์ เช่น MS Excel, SQL, some programming skills และนำเสนอข้อมูลด้วย visualization tools เช่น Tableau หรือ Power BI ในรูปแบบของ dashboard หรือ presentation deck และจัดทำเป็น business report เพื่ออัพเดทข้อมูลของลูกค้าให้สามารถนำไปใช้งานในฝ่ายอื่นได้ง่าย
ขั้นตอนในการทำงานจะเริ่มตั้งแต่การนำเข้าข้อมูลซึ่งต้องเป็นข้อมูลที่ถูกต้อง พร้อมใช้งาน ต่อด้วยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและมองความสัมพันธ์ของข้อมูลที่จะนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ต่อได้ จากนั้นจะทำการรายงานหรือนำเสนอผู้บริหารในรูปแบบที่เข้าใจง่ายเพื่อประกอบการตัดสินใจ นอกจากนั้นยังต้องสนับสนุนแผนกอื่นให้สามารถนำข้อมูลไปใช้ต่อได้ เช่น ระบบบริหารจัดการลูกค้าสัมพันธ์หรือ CRM และยังต้องจัดการข้อมูลที่มีอยู่ในมือทั้งหมดให้เป็นหมวดหมู่พร้อมใช้งานได้โดยง่าย
ทักษะที่จำเป็นของอาชีพ
-Database เนื่องจากฐานข้อมูลเป็นสิ่งสำคัญในการจัดเก็บ Big data ซึ่งมีขยายตัวเพิ่มขึ้นตลอด
-MS Excel เป็นหนึ่งตัวช่วยในการรวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลและจัดทำรายงานที่สามารถทำโดยง่าย
-MS Access เครื่องมือที่ช่วยสร้าง Query ได้ง่าย สามารถเรียกดูข้อมูลได้แล้วไม่จำเป็นต้องเขียนคำสั่ง ช่วยในการทำงานที่มีปริมาณข้อมูลมากซึ่งเป็นส่วนที่ไม่สามารถทำได้ด้วย Excel ได้
-SQL ใช้ในการดึงข้อมูลเสมือนที่มีอยู่ในระบบ ทำให้ไม่จำเป็นต้องดึงข้อมูลออกมาทั้งหมด
