"I advise you to respect the rights of women and to fear God in this regard. You have taken women as entrusted to God. You made their honor and chastity lawful by promising in the name of Allah. Be careful! Just as you have a right over women, they also have rights over you."

The Prophet and his friend go to Taif to do business. However, the people of Taif, who rejected his prophecy, attack them with sticks and stones and expel them.

Bir gün Bizanslı bir sanatkar Medine'ye gelir. Halktan birkaç kişi peygambere gelerek ona şunları söylerler: "Ey Allah'ın resulü. Bizanslı bir sanatkar gelmiştir şehrimize. Sizin yüzünüzü çizse de istikbalde müslümanlar sizin o güzel yüzünüzü görsünler. Peygamber ise isteklerini geri çevirerek onlara şöyle cevap verir: "Korkarım. Ümmetimin, Hristiyanların İsa'yı tanrının oğlu yaptıkları gibi beni de tanrının oğlu olarak kabul etmelerinden korkarım. Ümmetimin Allah'a değil bana tapmalarından korkarım. Benim ümmetim benim güzelliğimi değil güzel ahlakımı ve davranışlarımı örnek almalıdır."

I fear that my ummah will accept me as the son of god just as the Christians made Jesus the son of god. I am afraid that my ummah will worship me instead of Allah. My ummah should see my good morals and behavior, not my beauty. "
