Notes

So, a bit of context. I'm 13 and in 8th grade. Most of my grades are As and Bs, with the exception of one F in math. I am not in any extra curricular activities so far, but I don't have a study hall because of orchestra. My dad can see how many hours I spend on my phone, the apps I used, and he has restrictions from 10pm to 6am and 8am to 3pm, to where I can't use my phone during those times. As a side note, I am not allowed to change my password for my phone.

Now onto the story: I had missed the bus since it came early and I had to get ready for my dad to take me. I arrived second hour, late but still not too late. The day went by as normal, and I got permission to stay after school to work on homework. I kept my phone on me, listening to music while working. I got home, and sometime before 6pm I got a notification. 5 minutes until the three hour limit was up. I checked what it meant, and apparently my dad had set a restriction on my phone because of my missing the bus. So I messaged my friends this, "I guess the time limit wasn't enough for dear old dad, huh?" and waited for my phone to shut off. When it did, I set it on the stove and waited for my dad to come home. Now, I had forgotten to grab my phone so my dad thought it was a smart idea to check my messages and stuff. And I know this for a fact, because an hour later my dad burst into my room and chucked the phone on the bed saying, "Don't say anything bad about your 'dear old dad' unless you want a nail through your phone." and left the room. I have since deleted all of my chats and tomorrow I am going to transfer all of my images over to something where he doesn't know the password to. I have also deleted all of my unnecessary apps and I intend to basically abandon my phone.
