The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed WR Antonio Brown to a one year contract!‎

This is an amazing move by the Buccaneers. They won the Antonio Brown sweepstakes. Sure he hasn’t played in over a year, but it’s Antonio Brown. He is without a doubt one of the best wide receivers I have ever watched. Over the course of his career, he’s consistently been a top tier wide receiver. Saying he’ll step in right away and be that is a bit of a stretch, but the sky’s the limit. I think at worst he’ll be a quality wide receiver, and there’s a good chance he’s an elite receiver, which is what we’re used to seeing from Brown. What’s even more scary is that the Bucs already had the most talented WR duo in the league with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, and those two are starting to get healthy. The Bucs have Rob Gronkowski too, who’s coming off a great game last week. I honestly don’t know how you stop that. The Bucs are going all in this season, and if Brown is as good as he’s been, I could see the Bucs being right up there with the Chiefs, who I predicted to win the Super Bowl. As expected, he’ll come cheap, and there’s a good chance he significantly outperforms his contract. However, there is some risk. Brown obviously has major off the field issues, and he could end up hurting this team because of it. We all know what happened last year, and it also wouldn’t surprise me if he flames out again. At the end of the day, time will tell, but as of right now, I love this move. If everything goes right, the Bucs will have a good shot of winning it all, and that’s 100% worth it.‎

He had 56 yards per game, 14 yards per reception, 7 yards per target, 4.35 yards per route, a 50.0% catch rate, and 0 drops. Brown also had 1.8 yards after catch per reception and a 112.5 passer rating when targeted. 87.5% of his targets were deemed catchable. PFF gave him an elite grade of 90.0.
