An F-list artist puts little to no effort into their music. They release music with zero passion and energy. Like a 0 point evidence and commentary score, you just repeat the same lyrics and melody throughout providing no new information.

A D-list artist puts forward some effort into their music. They attempt to provide variety in lyrics and production (evidence and commentary) for the listener's sake, however, fails. An effort is shown however still not enough to keep the listener, or reader, interested.

A C-list artist's effort in their music is apparent and is decent for the listener. The lyrics aren't repetitive and the production level has taken a step up. Like this type of artist, a 2 point essay provides textual evidence and a couple of commentary elements. Some lyrics/paragraphs give the listener/reader insight however not throughout the whole song/essay. It's enjoyable for the listener, however, a remix or feature would elevate the song.

A B-list artist rarely releases a bad song in the public's eye. While listening to the song/essay, the listener/reader catches meaningful lyrics/evidence. The lyrics give insight into what the song is about, just like commentary provides explanations for the evidence. However, not every lyric is perfect and some can be confusing which gives inconsistency throughout the song. Spending more time (commentary) perfecting each lyric would give it that boost needed to be perfect.

An A-list artist has yet to release a song less than perfection. The lyrics, production value, and emotion behind the song are so powerful and noticeable to the listener. Each second and every lyric is satisfying for the listeners' ear. An A-list artist essay gives the reader everything needed to understand the prompt. All the evidence and commentary provided were chosen for a reason. The line of reasoning wraps everything together and gives the reader the perfect essay, just like the A-list artist did to the listener.
