Hello Lee!
I found it very cute that you attached time stamps to your writing, and i'm quite "flattered" -if i may use that word- that you have spent a couple hours writing me, That is the beauty of letters, having your mind occupied for a long duration by a sole person. Something Texting no longer provides, We switch interest and thoughts as easily as we swipe left and right, You can't do that with a piece of paper in front of you while you are deep in thought expressing your emotions to those far away from you. Well, back then it used to take over 10 days for a letter to arrive, it had a charm to it, waiting, checking the mailbox, literally. being disappointing quite often yet still checking for you know for sure, one day, that long awaited letter will be there, and the moment you find it, you feel an immense joy before you even read it. Sorry, i drifted away. It is now 23.35.

Agreed, Books are helpers, or rather tools meant to nourish our knowledge, not necessary our understanding and comprehension.
It is not a waste of time, I often feel immense pain for not finding the right words to express myself. How can you express an emotion to which you don't know the right word for? Emotions are never completely clear, they are similar and hard to tell apart. sadness, woe, regret, pain, misery, disappointment often have the same feeling in our chest, and so does joy, contentment, happiness, cheerfulness. It is but through understanding the circumstances and the correct meaning of the words that we are able to express and tell them apart and put them into words.

Well, Not Literally. I do not like pain. I do not like bringing myself pain. I would always pick that which causes me the least pain there is. but life is miserable either way. Our minds are a curse. I often wish if i was oblivion of many things, if i was dumb, unable to think or read between the lines, or notice the changes in people's behavior and patterns. it brings me too much pain to notice the slightest change in someone's attitude or response, I tend to ignore and pretend to not notice, it helps... yet it doesn't.
And yes, we do share that as well, and that is why i am very protective of myself. Even if i was to become attached to somebody-which happens quite a lot-, i would never accept it, I would fight it, reject it, hate it. for i can not allow myself to suffer because of anybody. My mind brings me enough suffering already.

I do not think we are building anything. All of those i knew in the past couple years have been around for a few days, weeks, months, but eventually they all disappear. It seems to be my nature. Soon, you also will, i know so, it does not matter how great or amazing you are or you think i am, i tend to lose my charisma in the end, Or perhaps my dominant and sadistic nature scares them away, I know, i may never get an other "letter" from you. And that is alright.

"i just exposed some of my inner self", isn't that all it takes to be remarkable in this era where everyone is too consumed by shallowness? Forgive me, I put it slightly. Exposing one's inner self is not that easy. nobody knows who their inner self is. Well, Almost so. So you doing that is more than sufficient to be remarkable and unique.

As much as i hate to admit it, Yes! Knowing one's self is both good and sad. Although, and trust me on this. There are still things you think you know, but you ll grow to discover otherwise. We tend to surprise ourselves when the moment calls for it. We can never completely predict or know how we would react in certain situations. and we only know when they occur.

Do not thank me, Lee. You are offering as much as i am offering. Your time, your emotions, and your thoughts. I am doing the same, and i'm getting the same. There is no need to thank me for that. I'm feeling the same positive emotions you felt -hopefully-, Just the warmth, joy and memory of talking to you this way is more than enough.
