Doch diese Frau stammt nicht aus dem echten Leben. Ihre Bewegungen wirken mechanisch, ihre Stimme unnatürlich. Elenoide, so ihr Name, ist eine „humanoide Maschine“, wie ihre Schöpfer sie nennen. Bald könnte diese Roboterfrau in Baumärkten als Kundenberaterin stehen. Stehen im wahrsten Sinn des Wortes, denn ihre Pumps sind auf einer Plattform festgetackert, aus ihren Fersen laufen dicke Drähte zu einem Computer. Sie reicht einem die Hand, doch die fühlt sich kalt, aber nicht menschlich an.
Elenoide ist ein Produkt Künstlicher Intelligenz made in Hessen und steht derzeit noch bei der RoboTrust-Forschungsgruppe des Zentrums verantwortungsbewusste Digitalisierung im Darmstädter Leap in Time Lab. Hessens Digitalministerin Kristina Sinemus hat die Roboterfrau am Mittwochnachmittag besucht. Mit leicht schief gelegtem Kopf und klarer Stimme antwortet Elenoide auf die Fragen der Ministerin, die vorgibt, im Baumarkt einen Werkzeugkoffer kaufen zu wollen...
