MONDAY NIGHT DO THE PMP WORK THINGS

Only things sending external are the 3rd party approval, rest of it is writing a scope to say doing mass assessment (but correct) with detailed design information, gauging comparison, weight and mass comparison to make sure there is no difference in bogies and braking.

Before talking to AH, Check overall EC previous:
I*M
Check Overall EC produced by DG8 for C350

Talk to AH (Overall EC):
What is captured in the Interiors scope and what is left for the overall EC
- Overall EC, what will go in the Overall Concept design, your LED lighting calcs?
- Overall EC Risks, etc
- Who is doing the High Level Concept design for Interiors? I thought you were writing it

Overall EC -
- High Level Concept
- Eng hours assessment
- Risk doc
- Roles and Responsibilities
- We don't need to get any work done by suppliers (no scopes?).

Overall EC: On the basis of the interior work for interiors, we are in the position to where we can do that ourselves
For the interior refresh we can write it ourselves based on DG8 docs supplied previously. Graeme still wants a HL concept doc

GC:
- Overall EC (Masses, braking and gauging): Need a document that clearly states (concept design) what are all the other mods are doing

Risk: Additional systems being added to the unit may affect the battery life and not maintain the 92minute emergency lighting time
Mitigation: This risk is managed as part of the Class 360/1 LED lighting scope, see risk assessment TI9146

Risks: (THIS COULD BE IN INTERIOR WORK, NOT Overall EC) (Below risks taken from Overall EC for 360-1 Risks doc)
- A2: need a cost for weigh well to come in and do the pre-weigh
- Look at a unit, look at the layout changes being proposed, come up with a ballpark figure of the change in mass per vehicle
- A5: LED lighting will not be a part of this scope, will be a part of another scope.
___
Weekend:
- Upload Timesheet for last 2 weeks
- SAP GUI update
- Discuss pay at PMP
- Send Graeme Email of placement reviews for PMP
___
All work:

Mass & Weight Interior work -
1. Complete assessment for change in masses and centre of gravity location.
2. Quick pre bid assessment scope to go to SNC Lavalin, to include braking, vehicle dynamics, route availability due to the change in mass and centre of gravity. - "Gauging Assessment Scope"
3. Masses, braking, vehicle dynamics, route availability and update to the gauging portfolio - "Vehicle Dynamics Scope"

- 380 Master Controller
Waiting on COI back from OEM
___
Dave call:

Section 1. Pre bid assessment scope for SNC-L:
Change in tare and change in crush mass for each vehicle, change in CofG in each vehicle. As a minimum we want them to look at effect on braking, vehicle dynamics/gauging, change to route availability and anything else SNC-L identify

Section 2. Work to be done post mod (write as 1):
1. Pre-assessment bit, 2. Feeds into post-assessment.
We have been asked for a bid for 3502, this is the work we have done.

Assess and see if there is a change, if there is changes then do the work and provide calculations with verification.
If route availability needs changed, provide a price to change the gauging portfolio.

Update the new RIS-2773-RST with the change is mass and CofG, and updating the gauging portfolio.

Core: Gauging portfolio is a requirement from GMRT 2173, document that defined how big the train is, RIS-2773-RST is the standard that determines what goes in the gauging portfolio

Route availability TI10573-012: Tells me what is to be assessed against for scope 1 (RA).
1. What is to be changed for scope 2 (RA).
2. write a section based on this doc (Only RA part)
__
Weight data from build
Go through 3502 documentation, looking for gauging that was carried out initially, gauging strategy. Under that it will list route availability (weight allowance)
Weight data

These are the weight changes and CofG changes, what is the change
Wheel loads, bogie dynamics, braking performance

Fleet tech library > 3502 > TRM > Submissions:
Looking for route availability/compatibility/technical compatibility assessment

Crush laden mass: 6 people per m^2
Strength laden weight: Tare + staff + 100%
___
Ask AH:
- Ask for access to the 3 programs - CREO, PDMLink (Windchill) and Ansys
- CREO and ANSYS - Go to myIT and ask to be added to licence servers
- Email both placement review forms to Graeme (Before growth talk)
___
C350/2 LSER Interior:
- Create a Concept document (look at 360/1 for LED lighting, PIS for this doc) - AH will complete
- Produce scopes: 1. Dynamic vehicle movements scope, 2. Gauging assessment scope (SNC-L, D-Gage, Balfour Beatty) and 3. Suspension scope modification
___
380 Master Controller EC:
Reasoning for replacing switches (Risk?): Although in the cond assessment report, the snap action switches didn't cause any functional issues. Gessmann suggest to replace based on mechanical, pollution and electrical. Unlikely based on this recommendation that the next 1.6M miles can go without failure. We don't have scope to NOT change the switches.
Risk: What to overhaul. Completed a 1.27m miles condition assessment & report and considered recommendations from it TI10412
- Update VMI's as necessary: JKP801, JKX802

Usual steps:
Procurement Sourcing Form (2 page, 4 sections) 1. Procurement, 2. Engineering, 3. Materials, 4. Commercial.

- VMI change?
- Create EC which will introduce the COI/COIL and include the updated VMI?

- 4-6 units completed, but remainder needs completed

JKL010: PBC - COIL
Contract between Siemens and Gessmann: SRS/SCM/208

Procurement sourcing form is needed, for every new overhaul

BOM needs to be agreed

JKE08002 Overhaul Instruction (360/2)
Email Billy Menmuir, to generate a new stock code for new parts if needed
6 units already overhauled
Florian Kraft: +49 7131 4067 934

Get a summary scope
They (Gessmann) develop Overhaul summary scope
Write the COIL and refer to the OSS

CCTV WORK:

- Sign pdfs
- Seek 185 Remote condition monitoring (RCM) for eng hours etc - EC done - SXM09006

High level scope:
- 5.3, not sure if the Ethernet cables need to be mentioned as this may be part of the private Ethernet backbone upgrade.
- 7. RAMS, copy in the MCOM data thing A680 - not at this stage

Risk: Additional systems being added to the unit may affect the battery life and not maintain the 92minute emergency lighting time
Mitigation: This risk is managed as part of the Class 360/1 LED lighting scope, see risk assessment TI9146.

Ashley Q's:
- DVR cabinet number (+341)

Old (failed) Scotrail bid: CCTV 350/2 TI 10237

- PLC modification was carried out locally with initial assistance from KBRS

- HHM06008 "Saloon HVAC Anti Suffocation Mode Enable and Loss of PLC Application Software Fix" - Another issue

1.95 software change? - Under certain circumstances, when left in the sidings would go in and out of sleep mode continuously
Limits the switching

Still an ongoing issue with the sleep mode on the units. Inhibited the bodyside heaters, because of an ACU fault
Still an existing request outstanding SAG

Lighting inverter failures on C444/450 fleet related to HVAC (Put these in the Risks doc)
- Lighting Inverter Damaged due to the change in wiring - Mitigation: Issue investigated and the lessons learned are to be incorporated into the Class 350 fleets
- Software fix - ASDO 6.2

HSM06009 "HVAC Internal Module Wiring for Sleep Mode"
HSE06010 "HVAC internal module wiring for sleep mode - Amended Maintenance"
HSI06008 "Depot Trial of HVAC sleep mode"
ILI06001 "Sleep Mode - Saloon Lighting Mod Prior to Fitment of Hardware Mod
