Think by what is very important for you and what you happen to be willing to do. (This immediately puts you in 'problem resolving' state in lieu of a 'problem immersion' state. It also tells the human brain that you simply going to make a change to redress the attack in your needs so you need its help. That always feels better than reeling or mulling within the attack itself and feeling better is just what you need at this stage.)
Warning: This is not a technique for instantly reprogramming. Like all rewiring from the brain, it takes repetition. So practice it in low stress situations and gradually build up until you can release your mind from the reptilian grip in seconds as opposed to hours.
