Ketua Umum Perserikatan Perusahaan Air Minum Dalam Paket (Aspadin) Hendro Baroeno mengucapkan industri air paket (AMDK) di negeri berkesempatan untuk tetap tumbuh tiap-tiap tahun. Di 2005, sebutnya, produksi air paket cuma sampai 8,8 miliar liter. Ia memperjelas perkembangan industri air paket di tahun ini searah dengan kencangnya perkembangan di industri minuman serta makanan. Di tahun ini, Kementerian Perindustrian mengasumsikan perkembangan industri makanan dapat sampai 8% - 9%. Dari keseluruhan produksi itu, sebutnya, market share air paket di negeri belum sama rata. Dikarenakan, seputar 39% atau seputar 4,99 miliar liter dari keseluruhan produksi air paket di 2009 disantap lokasi Jabodetabek. Tentang hal 40% konsumsi dimonopoli Jawa Barat, Jawa Timur, Jawa tengah serta DIY. Dari keseluruhan produksi di tahun lalu seputar 50% market share terkuasai PT Tirta Investama ialah produsen AMDK brand Aqua. "Situasi di tahun ini lantas kami prediksi masih sama diperbandingkan dengan tahun lalu," sebutnya, ini hari. Waktu ini, sebutnya, Kemenperin udah membuat standard nasional Indonesia (SNI) buat produk AMDK ialah SNI No. 01.3553.2006. Maksud SNI itu diinginkan dapat menanggung mutu kwalitas serta kesehatan. Penerbitan SNI itu berdasar pada Ketetapan Menteri Perindustrian (Permenperin) No. 69/2009 tertanggal 3 Juli terkait Penerapan Standard Nasional Indonesia (SNI) AMDK secara mesti. Ketetapan ini berlaku enam bulan sejak mulai ditentukan.
