SariAgri - Jelang lebaran, stok beras di dua kabupaten yakni Bondowoso dan Situbondo, Jawa Timur diperkirakan masih sangat aman.
Penegasan itu disampaikan Kepala Sub Drive Bulog Bondowoso Situbondo-Bondowoso, Rudy Prasetya.
Menurut Rudy, stok beras Bulog yang ada di dua gudang Klatakan dan Arjasa, Kabupaten Situbondo dan satu gudang Kembang di Bondowoso terjamin ketersediaannya untuk lebaran tahun ini hingga dua tahun ke depan.
Namun demikian, pihak Bulog akan terus berkoordinasi dengan Pemkab Bondowoso dan Situbondo jika ada lonjakan harga beras. Pihaknya akan melakukan operasi pasar, guna menekan harga beras kembali stabil.
“Antisipasi jika terjadi kenaikan harga beras tingkat konsumen di pasaran, nanti kita akan berkoordinasi dengan dinas perdagangan Situbondo maupun Bondowoso,“ ujar Rudy kepada SariAgri, Rabu (5/5).

Saat ini, lanjut Rudy, stok beras untuk Bondowoso sekitar 7.200 ton dan Situbondo ada sekitar 5.700 ton, total keseluruhan 12.900 ton.
Dari stok tersebut, jika konsumsi pangan dua kabupaten itu diperkirakan 500 ton per bulan, maka ketersediaan 12.900 ton mampu bertahan untuk kebutuhan hingga akhir April 2023.
“Jadi kami jamin sangat aman, untuk jatah kebutuhan pangan hingga dua tahun ke depan. Jumlah tersebut juga akan terus bertambah dengan masuknya serapan gabah hasil panen raya dari petani,“ pungkasnya.
