SariAgri - Direktur Eksekutif Indef Ahmad Tauhi menyatakan bahwa di tengah pandemi Covid-19, sektor pertanian tetap berpotensi tumbuh secara positif.
Hal itu merujuk data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) yang menyatakan bahwa pada triwulan I 2021 sektor pertanian mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 2,95 persen.
Menteri Pertanian (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo menyambut baik atas capaian positif pada triwulan I.
Menurut Syahrul, capaian tersebut merupakan hasil kerja keras dan kolaborasi seluruh pihak.
"Alhamdulillah, ini adalah potret bagaimana sektor pertanian terus memberikan upaya dan kinerja terbaiknya bagi negara," ujar Syahrul.
Struktur sektor pertanian, kata Syahrul, tetap bergerak tak kenal waktu di tengah pandemi dan terbukti tahan terhadap hantaman krisis.
"Kami terus bekerja untuk pangan rakyat," katanya.
Salah satu komitmen yang dilakukan Kementan dalam mendukung petani meningkatkan produksi dan produktivitasnya melalui penyaluran Kredit Usah Rakyat (KUR) Pertanian.
Syahrul menjelaskan, dana KUR pertanian yang dialokasikan pemerintah sebesar Rp 70 triliun. Adapun dana KUR pertanian ini dapat digunakan bagi kelompok tani untuk membeli alat mesin pertanian atau modal masa tanam.
