Neville Longbottom adalah siswa Hogwarts yang masuk ke dalam asrama Griffindor bersama dengan Harry, Hermione, dan Ron. Terlihat penakut dan sering dibully, namun Neville adalah tokoh yang memiliki keberanian dalam menghadang temannya Harry, Ron, dan Hermione agar tidak menimbulkan masalah bagi asrama Griffindor.
Neville memiliki sifat yang terlihat ceroboh, pemalu, dan pelupa yang dapat terlihat saat mendapatkan bola remembrall.
Quotes yang saya sukai ada pada movie The Deathly Hollow part 2. Saat Neville berbicara kepada Voldemort ia sempat berkata
"He's still with us in here. So is Fred, Remus, Tonks. All of Them"
Alasannya adalah, ia memberitahukan kepada kita meskipun mereka telah tiada, mereka akan selalu ada di ingatan dan hati kita tidak peduli seberapa lamanya itu.
Neville mengajarkan kita agar berani bertindak meskipun kecil keberhasilan tersebut, tidak mudah menyerah, dan selalu berusaha menjadi dirinya sendiri.
