연구진은 골마지를 예방하기 위해선 김치를 포장할 때 모든 부분을 국물에 잠기게 하거나 산소와 접촉면이 생기지 않도록 비닐로 감싸야 한다고 설명했다. 또 약 4도의 저온이 유지되도록 냉장고를 관리해야 한다고 덧붙였다. 김 책임연구원은 “혹시 모를 위험을 피하려면 골마지가 생긴 김치는 그 부분을 걷어낸 다음, 볶거나 끓여먹는 방식으로 김치를 조리해 먹는 것이 안전하다고 덧붙였다.

인천시 남동구가 브랜드와 레시피를 개발해 만든 ‘소래찬’ 김치가 6월 출시될 전망이다.

생산 업체는 소래찬 상표에 대한 이미지와 소비자 신뢰를 높일 수 있도록 최고의 품질 수준을 유지해야 한다.



특히 구는 해당 제품에 대해 공인품질검사기관의 품질검사를 받도록 요구할 수 있고, 검사 결과 부적합하거나 법 위반 시 김치 제조 및 상표 사용을 중지할 수 있다.
