My Top Five Favorite New Stand-Up DVD Releases of 2021
The number of new stand-up dvds released every year has been on the rise. This is due to the fact that online comedy video websites have made it easy for comedy fans to upload their favorite comedy movies and television shows onto their laptops and other portable media players. The great thing about these comedy dvds is that they are usually accompanied by a plethora of behind the scenes, funny content, and other fun extras. These comedy video DVDs are perfect for anyone looking to supplement their comedy night with an additional entertaining DVD that they can play in the comforts of their own home.

Two of the most popular comedy DVD's that hit the market recently are Jeff Dunham and Jason Baldwin Live at the Hollywood Walk of Fame Part 2. These two comedies does feature some of the best stand-up comedy from the likes of Dave Show's Jason Newhan, as well as The Sarah Silverman Show's Sarah Susanka. They also come with a plethora of other behind the scenes comedy clips and celebrity interviews.

Other great comedy DVD's that are perfect to add to your comedy night are the Chris Rock Stand-Up Special and Jeff Dunham and Jason Baldwin Live at the Hollywood Walk of Fame Part 1. Both of these does feature some of the more memorable moments from both of these celebrated comedians' careers. If you're looking for a great introduction to some of today's most popular comedians, these new stand-up dvds should be a part of your collection.

In addition to getting a great laugh from the two Hollywood celebrities mentioned above, the other two celebrities often featured on these funny DVD's are Chris Rock and John Stewart. Both of these masters of sarcasm, and wacky humor is best showcased on this brilliant new DVD. The very first "Chick flick" that I bought when it first came out was the Meet the Parents DVD. That movie forever changed the way that I looked at television, especially late night. Another great comedy DVD that I am loving is Russell Brand's Live at the Playboy Mansion. This is the one I got when I was in college, and I still have the VHS tape in the box. It featured a wide array of stand-up comics that I had never seen before, and it was very impressive how Brand showcases his ability to draw in crowds. Even though Brad is no longer living the wild and wooly lifestyle that he once enjoyed, he is able to do the same thing that he did when he was much younger; entertaining.

The next comedy DVD I am really digging are the Jeff Dunham and Friends DVDs that are available from the new Big Box DVD store. There are three DVDs that I absolutely must have, and they are Jeff Dunham: Live at the Playboy Mansion, Dirty Rotten Scum, and Jeff Dunham: The Game. Not only is Dunham a hilarious stand-up comic, but he is also a great actor, singer, and producer. These DVDs feature some of my favorite movies of all time, and it is a wonderful way to spend an evening with your kids or spouse. The Blu-ray disc also plays the best version of the Jeff Dunham movies, so if you have not seen them yet, you definitely need to grab them.

If you are looking for some other great comedy DVD that I absolutely must have, then you might want to check out the Chris Stone: Back on Track special with Christopher Walken. This is a comedy DVD that showcase all of the best of Chris Stone's work, and is a fantastic collection of all of his best roles. This is also a great collection of all of his stand-up comedy specials that he has done over the years, which are a big reason why this collection is so great. If you have never seen him perform, then you owe it to yourself to check him out live. He is one of the most talented comedians alive today.


Last, but certainly not least, is the brilliant Seinfeld. Now you may be wondering how someone could rank comedy shows on my list, given that I don't watch television. Well, other than the fact that there are constantly new sitcoms and dramas on channel 4, that is. When I do get on, I will always pull out my blu-ray player, because when it comes to a good comedy show, you can't go wrong with any of the Seinfeld dvds that are available right now on the internet.
