Development Team for payment integration at a software company. The team consists of four members who are all equally talented in their areas of expertise. We have an intern, KJ, joining us this month. PG, AH and SK are senior developers and have welcomed and briefed KJ.

Our Team goal is," to fix the payment redirection to third party issues and eliminate all security bugs. We have to push for 100% safe transaction gateway and be the best option in the market".

1​. There may be various ideas of how to achieve success within the team. Therefore, members need to be open to compromise and recognize that it is sometimes better to give in than be “right”. Members need to discern the differences between their own needs and those of the group, ideally putting the needs of the team before the needs of the individual.

2. For the team to be successful, members need to be responsible for their duties and do the work required as agreed upon. Otherwise, team progress could be impeded, especially if further steps are dependent on the required work. Everyone needs to know that they can rely on their team members in completing assigned tasks/preparation work so that the team can progress in its objective(s).

3. In times of conflict, we will:

Regard conflict as normal and as an opportunity for growth.
Seek to understand the interests and desires of each party involved before arriving at answers or solutions.
Choose an appropriate time and place to discuss and explore the conflict.
Listen openly to others' points of view.
Acknowledge valid points that the other person has made.
State our points of view and our interests in a non-judgmental and non-attacking manner.
Seek to find some common ground for agreement.

4. A well-running team is always interested in how things are going. Members of the team will contribute to an attitude of action and momentum. Often, progress is a good indicator of how well the team is working together. Regular assessment is necessary for a team to ensure it is continuing to work well together.

5. We will start meetings on time.

6. We will put away cell phones during meetings.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1​. PG: Integrating the consumer database and scaling up if necessary, correspond with QA and Prod teams.

2​. AH: Implement security patches, fix firewall issues and the header injection issue.

3​. SK: Implement the third party gateway and file the documentation.

4​. KJ: Research - current consumer issues and key demographics of the product, implement the UI fix.
