3 Disney Online Movies for Christmas Day
3 Disney Online Movies for Christmas Day

In an anonymous interview, several Pixar employees criticized Disney's decision to only launch its animated blockbuster on Netflix. Among the topics they discussed was Disney's apparent leverage of Hollywood influence to launch the movie without the expense of a traditional movie house opening strategy. Sources claim that Pixar planned to make two more Cars movies and spread them out into other genres to increase stardom. Bob Iger, Disney CEO, stated that there would no Car project at the film's release date. Iger instead indicated that Disney would focus on building brand equity through the successful online marketing of Cars. He said, "I thought the company had a good idea, but the wrong strategy, and at the wrong time."

Christopher Nolan, Pixar's director, confirmed in mid-July that two new Cars films would be released within the next two years. The titles were not revealed by Nolan, but he directed The Dark Knight Rises while completing The Dark Knight. Multiple reports have indicated that two more Cars movies are in preproduction and will debut in the next two-years. Although the companies spokespersons have downplayed expectations for both films, some insiders suggest that Cars 3 could be released as early as next summer.

Disney's latest release, Inside Out, has been a box-office success. This movie brings back the nostalgic magic of family-oriented movie viewing that Disney movies have enjoyed since celluloid was first introduced to the market. A few analysts believe that this latest hit from Pixar represents the final chapter in the Disney story, the grand Disney tradition of taking genre and story categories and developing them into blockbusters, tentpole movies capable of drawing in huge audiences. In this case, the company's long-standing tradition of planning, producing, and selling a string of classic animated films beginning with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs have combined to make Inside Out the fourth best-selling animated film of all time.

Inside Out is the story of a young girl who finds a mysterious bracelet that leads her to discover she has feelings about her reflection in a mirror in her bathroom. This film marks the first year that Walt Disney Animation has worked on a family film, and there are plenty of reasons why the financial results have been less than stellar. Jonathan Liebesman, the director of the majority of the film, is one of the reasons. He is the man who created the incredible computer animation work for Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Another reason is that the studio had previously made several poor movies, including the awful Mulan. Despite its low ticket sales, and mediocre reviews, Inside Out is still the highest-grossing film of all time. If you're going to be attending a Christmas party and know someone who loves Inside Out, they can recommend a movie marathon for you to cheer yourself up.

find here of animated movies would not be complete without mentioning The Nightmare Before Christmas. As one of the biggest box office hits of all time, The Nightmare Before Christmas saw its fair share of critical acclaim, but did it manage to achieve the level of commercial success that it should have? One of the main reasons The Nightmare Before Christmas received such a positive response was Tim Burton's brilliant use of computer-generated imagery. This created a world that can only be described as a nightmare. While the film didn't exactly live up to expectations, Burton's vision still remains as one of the most memorable animated features of all-time.

Finally, for anyone who wants to take in a movie marathon on the internet without having to leave their living room, you can always watch online Disney movies. A lot of people prefer to download full length movies rather than watching them on a dinky DVD player or the like because they don't have to worry about damaging the copyrights by playing these movies illegally. With a full season of all of your favorite Disney movies available on several online websites for just a modest fee, there's really no reason not to make it a yearly event. You might even consider that watching a movie on your TV set at home is considered "family-friendly."
