MEMORY VERSE - 2 Corinthians 1:24
Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
BIBLE TEXT - 2 CORINTHIANS 1:20-24
- To me the memory verse means, "we're not trying to overcome your faith, we're trying to help your joy, because you stand by your faith."
- God will do what he promises to us as long as we keep our promises to Him.
- "Joy is evidence of freedom. It shows liberation from things that held you bound."
- "Joy is like a well; its depth will determine the quantity of water that comes out of it."
- "One way to retain your joy after salvation is by digging your well further in the word of God. This can be done by studying, meditating and obeying it."
- The more you stay in God's presence, the deeper your joy will be.
- "You will be surrounded by Gods presence so much that even if an unpleasant situation occurs, you will respond to it with joy."
