Etapas:
-Hasta 1930: por influjo de Juan Ramón Jiménez se orientan hacia la poesía pura quitan lo anecdótico y representan lo humano de la lírica popular. Deshumanizan el arte.
-A partir de 1930: Proceso de re-humanización temas como el amor, el deseo, la frustración, preocupaciones sociales o existenciales...
-Después de la guerra: Grupo disperso. Tema principal patria perdida y añoranza.
Los poetas del 27 renivaron la poesía española saniendo aunar la tradición y lo clásico con las innovaciones contemporáneas.
Las principales tendencias:
-Poesía neopopular: Se basan en romances y canciones breves populares con un tratamiento culto denominado neopopularismo.
-Poesía pura: J.R.Jiménez como maestro. Poesía más humanizada.
-Vanguardias: Deseo de encontrarun nuevo lenguaje poético y de renovar.
1ª etapa: Futurismo, Alberti y Salinas y Ultraísmo.
2ª etapa: Surrealismo.
-Influencia clásica de Góngora y Bécquer
