The courses that I was taking this last semester were MAT120 which I failed, CHM130 lecture, ENG101, PSY101, and CHM130 Lab. I passed all of my classes except for MAT120, but I did not pass them with the grade that I would have liked to. Around the middle of the semester or so, my dad attempted suicide but missed and hit his pulmonary vein and I received the news during my English class. Since my parents are divorced, the surgeon told me that since I am eighteen and his daughter that if for some reason my dad were to pass away, I was supposed to agree or decline to put him on life support. My dad, thank god, did not pass away but was in the hospital for weeks, and was sent to psych ward for a few days to help him. When he was still in the hospital, I had to go down to the police station and get his belongings that he had with him when he shot himself. They were covered in blood and they asked me if I wanted to have the gun back, which I declined. My mom and I had to go to the car pound to get the truck and clean out all of the liquor bottles and the blood from the seats, dashboard, and steering wheel. We were told that the police officers found the bullet but while cleaning the truck, I was the one who found it. Before this happened my dad used to threaten not only my brothers and I but also my mom's well being. Since then my mom got a restraining order for her and my brothers but since I am 18. I have to file a separate one, if I wanted to. I have not filled it because I am the only one who can help him when he needs it. To this day he needs help with not only finding a job but also with mobility since it hurts way to much to move his arm. My mom has my brothers and I going to counseling to help us out with what happened.

I told two of my teachers through email what was going on and I told another one in person what was going on and they were able to help me out. I told them that he was shot because I was not sure if I could tell them the truth.

I would highly appreciate it if you help me and unsuspended my financial aid because I can not pay for it and my mom has too many things going on and I do not want to burden her with this.
