<p class="p__1">Sloan then went on to develop her own brand of paint, Chalk Paint, in 1990. At first the paint was produced in Belgium. She opened her first store in Headington, Oxford, in 2000, where she sold her paint, along with fabrics and ready-painted furnishings. Her book Colour Recipes for Painted Furnishings and More was released in 2013.</p>

<p class="p__2">In 2015, Sloan presented a 2nd brand name of paint, Wall Paint, in Europe. Her organization is based in Oxford, England, which she runs with her hubby, David. In 2017, Sloan entered into a collaboration with Oxfam to produce a brand-new colour called Lem Lem, motivated by Oxfam's Ethiopian Seed Task.</p>
