PROLOGUE.

HAZIRA
We sat in an empty class formating a circle, doing nothing. It was 4.30 already, almost everyone already left the school. But the five of us, we stayed still. We were waiting for Dini’s ride to come pick us up. We had no phone with us, no laptops, no food, literally nothing. And I was bored as heck. I wished I was laying in my bed, playing games on my laptop. But nah, the reality was, I am trapped inside my school with my four friends. Fuck.
“I miss my ex.” Tabina sighed. All of us looked at her. “I missed the way we walked down the hallway, the way he puts his arms around me, the way he calls my name. Him. I miss Rifqi.” She bited her lower lips.
“Why did you say that all of a sudden?” Syifa cringed. Tabina shook her head.
“Nothing… I just, I miss him. Is that wrong? I broke up with him over one stupid fight, and it wasn’t technically a break up tho, neither of us said the word ‘break up’.” She said.
“I’m not sure about what am I feeling.” Nanda said quietly. “I never liked Yazid at the first place, but… you know… I like him. And it feels kinda wrong when we’re not together anymore.”
I gave her a blank stare. Seriously?! She said she doesn’t like him but she likes him. Oh god.
“Well, I liked that jerk for so long and he likes my ex-friend, that looks all calm outside but a true bitch inside.” Syifa said. “Ikhsan, seriously. One day he’ll regret everything he has done to me. Why did he choose her instead of me?!”
“My last break up was a total mess. I pulled of a stupid april mop joke on him and he broke up with me just like that. I know, me and Gema are still friends, but, it’s just not right.” I spoke up.
“I never have a relationship with anyone.” Dini confessed. I laughed. We all knew that. “And I only liked a few people, and those were never serious, you guys now that.” We laughed again. Dini checked her nokia phone. “My driver is here. Come on,”
I grabbed my backpack and I stood up. What are we, seriously? Like a heartbreak club or something? Why did love never treat us right?
