Hey guys, there are a couple of things I wanted to bring up to you guys here because we won’t have exec meeting until the week after. The first thing I wanted to bring up is my general state of well-being. I haven’t been doing so well and I’m noticing my lack of self-care is negatively affecting me mentally. To be honest, I’m still trying to figure out what is happening but I talked with Jen and she thoughtfully advised me to take some time off work. I’m also considering reaching out for professional support to learn more and hopefully grow stronger mentally. Along with this, I wanted to ask if I could take time off from exec and TG for the week I’m off of work. Secondly, I wanted to ask if I can take a break (maybe for this semester) from leading praise. I thought I can grow from being anxious when I lead praise but it feels like I lost the battle. Which is really hard to admit. I think it will be better to take a break from being in that kind of state for now. I’m sorry for committing to more than I can handle. That being said, I do want to continue leading/serving in other ways and grow from there. Third in terms of Journey group, I’m still prayerfully considering joining. It is definitely another thing to add on but the value journey group brings is definitely something I still have to consider. What are your guys’ thoughts?
