Reading the Books in the Hunger Games Franchise
The film The Hunger Games revolves around two teenagers, Katniss, who has won the position of district master and Peeta who are a boy, but is allowed by his family to participate in the Hunger Games. As you progress through the book you'll gain more perspectives and learn more about the events that led to the revolution. The books also discuss the events that occur before the graduation ceremony of the final tribute that survived, known as Coin. She and her mother form an uneasy alliance after she is assigned to Katniss.

The first novel in the series introduces the reader to the world of Panem.
