Age of Enlightenment
The Age of Enlightenment (sometimes called the Enlightened Age) was a period in late 18th-century history that attempted to replace the traditional rules of religion with new ideas based on science and religion. The Enlightenment was a fervent advocate for individualism. It was a time of concepts such as freedom, equality and fraternity as well as separation of state and religion, toleration and democracy. It is widely recognized as one of the most influential periods of the world's history. Famous figures like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and John Locke, Roger Williams and Jefferson established the foundations for the US government. While the era of enlightenment was not without its negative impacts on the political theory and practice however, it is important to remember that many of its positive influences have shaped contemporary political theory and practice.

The French Revolution was not the beginning of the Age of Enlightenment. In response to the French Revolution and its religious fundamentalism, the Enlightenment ideas were widely spread across Europe. The concept of reason was replaced by intolerance and war as religion became the cause of conflict between people. In response to this various countries imposed restrictions on religious freedoms, placing many religious minorities at risk of persecution.

Intolerant of religion and war were two of the most dangerous conflicts in the history of Europe. The Age of Enlightenment was a bid to stop further decline of European civilization by establishing intellectual leadership. The enlightenment came together with the idea of toleration. Tolerance, however, does not mean that religions of other faiths are not allowed to practice their religion even though they are allowed to be part of European society. The idea of enlightenment sought to prevent the development of nation-state or religious intolerance as well as war.

In the era of enlightenment, the European countries enjoyed periods of prosperity and power. But, they also experienced periods of poverty and corruption. The development of local government led to a division of powers among the states. The people were governed by a higher power, usually a monarchy. The checks and balances system protected against powerful leaders who abuse power.

In the 19th century, religion had lost much of its authority and was mostly removed from public life. The clergy were no longer the majority and their influence was rapidly losing control to the people. The religious arguments were revived during the Enlightenment. It believed that moral and spiritual values were universal and could be expressed in a universal manner.

As soon as enlightenment ideas began to lose their grip on the public religion began to gain the power of religion. Education became a potent tool that spread the idea of enlightenment over and over again. This idea of universal reasoning was pushed by many schools. As a way to quell any opposition to the new faith, an array of purges and inquisitions, as well as witch hunts were carried out. Although not universal the religious revival made a profound impact on the thinking of ordinary people.

รับออกแบบ As the age of enlightenment progressed on, the effects on the entire society continued to be felt. Education was becoming more important and it is believed to be responsible for the downfall of slavery. The concept of the nuclear family and the family institution as the norm began to fade away. It is now believed that family planning was one of the causes of this development. This led to the acceptance of sexual morality, which allowed women to become more involved in politics.

The Age of Enlightenment, a fascinating period in the history of the world, is a fascinating one. It was the result of a variety of forces that came together to make this new perspective more influential. It is difficult to know what would have transpired if this new development had not occurred. However we can be certain that the idea of Reason and Enlightenment will continue to be in use for many more years to come.
