POLO衫是什麼意思
POLO衫原本是貴族打馬球的時候所穿的服裝，可能是因為舒適，他們喜歡穿著有領子的短袖衣服，久而久之就被人們稱作是"polo shirt"，後來廣為大眾喜愛，所以演變成一般的休閑服裝。POLO衫的設計以不用紮進褲子裡為前提，做出瞭後長、前短，且側邊有一小截開口的下擺。此種下擺設計使穿著者在坐下時，也能避免一般T恤因前擺過長而皺起來的情況。
在POLO衫問世之前，打網球是穿著傳統襯衫、連襪褲並打上領帶的。後來由Polo Ralph Lauren推出的款式大受歡迎，借此將此衣型引介到馬球界和其他運動界以至休閑穿著，才因此叫做POLO衫，也稱為高爾夫球衫。
POLO衫和T恤有什麼區別
1、概念不同
T恤衫是一個泛稱呼，包括圓領T恤衫，V領T恤衫，雙領T恤衫，時尚撞色T恤衫等等款式，T恤款式千變萬化，無拘無束。可以時尚潮流，可以商務正式，可以素色，可以個性印圖。POLO衫相對於T恤衫，范圍要縮小很多，一般是指翻領、開領的特定款式。由於世界國際品牌”POLO“保羅衫出名，而衍生出來的一個叫法。
2、衣領不同

3、收腰不同
為瞭讓男士穿上後更顯挺拔，POLO衫幾乎都有收腰的設計，穿上後既修身又顯高。而一般的T恤多數是直筒設計，是為瞭穿著起來更加舒適。
4、衣角開叉不同
POLO衫有一個很明顯的標志，那就是衣角的左側或是右側會有一個開叉的設計，這個細節既能突顯腰部的線條，又提高瞭腰部的舒適度。而T恤衫的腰部一般都不會有這個設計，這是特別容易將它們區分開的一個細節。
5、穿著效果不同
POLO衫在一般情況下會具有更好的修身效果，適合那些身材稍微健壯點，想通過衣服來顯瘦的男士穿著。但如果是特別胖，尤其是有大肚子的男士，穿POLO衫就不太合適瞭，而應該選擇大碼的T恤來穿。
6、風格不同
T恤衫款式風格復雜多變，講究時尚、隨意、無拘無束、顏色任意搭配、撞色種類繁多；相比T恤衫而言，POLO衫的款式風格比較簡約、簡單、商務、正式、莊重。T恤衫一般會有多種不同顏色的佈料裁片撞色，或者不同圖案顏色的印花，而POLO衫一般比較單一，講究經典，端莊。
