Dear Everyone,
I arrived back in Australia yesterday morning. Before boarding the plane, to my surprise my luggage weighed only 18.5 kilos (although I did send some things) haha.
In these two months, the best experience of going on exchange was getting the chance to meet new people. I am grateful that I was able to get to know students of Ikubunkan, host family and others.
Because I already gave a speech on my last day of school, I want to talk about something else.
I made many memories at Ikubunkan Global High School.
To the people who took the initiative to talk to me, thank you. Until the very end, your kindness allowed me to enjoy my time in Japan.
To the people who returned their smiles, thank you. Wherever I went and smiled at someone, I was very happy that they returned the smile.
To the people who became closer to me, thank you. There was always something to talk about, and there was never a time where it was boring. It was fun.
To the people who gave me messages and presents, thank you. I appreciate the thought and action so much, and was surprised that you'd do such things for me. I was so happy; I've read every single message. (Except I can't finish the puzzle the 2nd years gave me...sorry o_o haha)
To the people who helped me, thank you. Thank you for always answering the tons of questions I had well, and teaching me Japanese.
To the people who laughed with me, thank you. Your jokes or conversations were always very funny and interesting; I looked forward to it every day.
Finally, to the people who continue to keep in contact with me even after I return to Australia, thank you.
If you sent me a friend request, I accepted with pleasure. If you want me to write you a letter, I'll be glad to do so.
This message is long; however, words cannot express my feelings and gratitude to everyone involved in my exchange.
I love everyone. I will definitely go to visit you guys one day, so this is not a 'good bye'. Simply, a 'see you later'.

昨日の朝にオーストラリアに帰ってきた。飛行機に乗る前に荷物は18.5キロだけでびっくりした(送った荷物もあったんだけど)。笑
2ヶ月間に、人と出会って仲良くするのは一番いい経験だった。郁文館の生徒とかホストファミリーとか色んな人に逢えてよかった。
学校の最終日にスピーチあげたから、違うことについて話したい。
郁文館で思い出いっぱいできた。
私に話しかけてくれた人、ありがとう。最後まで優しくて楽しめた。
笑顔で返した人、ありがとう。
どこに行っても笑顔したら相手は笑顔で返して嬉しかった。
仲良くなれた人、ありがとう。
喋った時にいつも言いたいことがあって、つまらないときは全然なかった。楽しかった
メッセージかプレゼントをあげた人、ありがとう。
感謝する。そんなことしてくれてびっくりした。本当に嬉しかった。メッセージ、ひとつずつ読んだ。
(2年生にもらったパズル全然できないけど...すいません 笑)
助けてくれた人、ありがとう。いつでも私からの質問うまく答えて、日本語とかも教えてくれてありがとう。
一緒に笑った人、ありがとう。冗談か会話面白くなっていっぱい笑えて毎日を楽しみにしてた。
最後に、オーストラリアに帰ってもまだ連絡したい人に、ありがとう。Facebookで友達リクエスト送ったら喜んで追加した。手紙も、欲しいなら喜んで送る。
このメッセージは長いけど、words cannot express my feelings and gratitude to everyone involved in my exchange.
郁文館のみんなが大好き。絶対に、またみんなに会いに行くから、これは「バイバイ」じゃない。ただの、「またね」。
