A Costa Rica Fishing Tale
Certain things in life remain in your memory forever - your first kiss, the birth of an child, plus an unbelievable day of Costa Rica fishing. Many Costa Rica fishing anglers have great days, some even more so, but let me tell you in regards to a fantastic day off of the Quepos fishing waters. This magical day started similar to most sport fishing trips with a beautiful boat, the master was gracious enough to invite us aboard her for any day out for the Costa Rica fishing waters. With the bite being out forty miles, we left the Marina around 7 am to get started on the 2-hour ride to the fishing grounds. Now some boats boast they run fast, but rarely do. This was far from the truth using this Quepos Costa Rica motorboat with a relaxed cruising speed of 23 knots. It didn't take long to leave for the sweet spot.
This vessel comes with an amazing crew of four. Captain and first mate can be extremely on their own game. It was a cloudless sky and we had a pleasant smooth ride.
