USA Sports Uniforms For Our Top Athletes Considered
Before Continue Reading got fully into my business career I was a high-performance track and field athlete, and even in those days I realized how important my sports equipment was, whilst an athlete. There were these shoes, socks, shorts, and jersey - all this mattered, would certainly be surprised. Even in those days those shoes, shorts, and shirts weren't stated in the USA, but that wasn't going to stop me. Okay so, let's talk, because it generally seems to me not much has evolved since then, and this was 2 decades ago.
You see, recently, there was clearly an item in the Wall Street Journal on July 20, 2012, which asked; "Does It Matter China Made the US Olympic Uniforms," by John Bussey, which discussed the media sensation brouhaha over the not "made in America" controversy with the uniforms worn in the 2012 London Olympic Games by American athletes. The article stated; "The flap over uniforms has a lot about the US's fraught relations with China and a sense the US is losing the race on the Chinese."
You know, in numerous regards it's true, but we haven't made apparel within our country for a while now, most of that textile industry visited Mexico due to NAFTA, and then got outsourced for the Chinese, and finally, well, they generate most with the clothes we buy there now, and these shoes, even though they are saying Nike, Adidas, or some other well-known brand. If you own Nike apparel, the running shorts I am wearing today, well, these are manufactured in Singapore, not China, but what the heck; it is not manufactured in the USA. Secondly, you'll find nothing wrong using them, they can fit snug, feel great, and appearance sharp.
Let me ask you something; did these athletes practice in USA Made sportswear - not likely. In fact, in their lives just as one athlete, only on rare occasions did they wear any sports attire stated in the USA, however I guess since it is an election year, high unemployment numbers, along with the unions desire to elect a democrat, I guess it's news worthy, as outsourcing of American Jobs seems to be a big pet peeve because of this political season.
Now then, permit me to ask you something else; tell me whenever you celebrated your Fourth of July, I bet you'd a BBQ, a really cool unit, that you bought at Lowes or Home Depot and I bet it was not stated in America. Nor were the paper plates, plastic cups, or plastic American Flags - you see everything was manufactured in China. Further, that do you imagine invented fireworks within the first place - yep, the Chinese some 2,000 years back in fact. Think about it. All we have to concentrate on in winning Gold Metals - lots of them!
