1.使用葡萄酒保存專用瓶塞
要阻斷空氣與葡萄酒的接觸，最好的方式就是由根本(瓶塞)解決，但絕對不是用原本葡萄酒上的軟木塞，因為軟木塞在你用開瓶器鑽下時，就已經失去了原本瓶塞的功能，當然也無法阻隔空氣，因此需要額外購買酒瓶專用瓶塞。

市面上販售的酒瓶專用瓶塞，概念就像我們平時保存食物用的保鮮盒，藉由封條阻隔空氣，防止食物氧化，專用瓶塞能有效阻斷空氣與葡萄酒接觸。但是瓶塞終究只有塞著時有效而已，當你打開後依然會讓空氣與葡萄酒接觸，所以還是建議盡快喝完才是正解，此方法僅適合會在短期內飲用完的人。

2.將葡萄酒分瓶裝
這是比買瓶蓋更來得推薦的作法，但前提是必須先準備好玻璃瓶作保存，大部分的人買葡萄酒，都不是在短期內會喝完，可能是一時想來點小酌，或是朋友相聚喝一點，總是會剩個半瓶，小酌後就是直接塞上瓶塞，隨手冰回冰箱，然後就這麼被遺忘在冰箱的角落，直到被發現後通常也壞了。

葡萄酒分裝法的好處是可以依照個人飲用習慣，選擇適合自己飲用量的瓶身大小，這樣就能確保每次拿出葡萄酒，都能盡所能的喝完，讓葡萄酒接觸空氣的機會最小化，使每一次的品嚐都是最佳風味。
