(P) This YOUR boat? *raises eyebrows seductively while holding boat like a wine glass*

(G) *Looks at boat*

(P) It’s a nice boat. *eyebrow raise again*. (*Checks George Out*) 'Floats'. *Yet another Eyebrow Raise*

(G) Why are yOu (*voice crack*) in the sewer? *Surprised tone*

(P) OH (*raise voice, sound surprised)*, the circus (*pause*) (*look around*) said not to say (*wink*)

(G) How come? *Genuine confusion*

(P) *Firm* They don’t let me in on that stuff.

(P) I just do my tricks *pause* *seductive tone activated* for the kids.
(P) *pause* You look like a *checks him out, looks him up and down* nice boy.
(P) I’ll bet you have a lot of friends.

(G) Three. But my brother is my best, *raise voice and emphasize* BEST...

(P) Your BEST (*emphasized*) best. Is this HIS (*emphasized*) boat?

(G) He made it for Me *raise voice, point to self. act proud*.

(*A big grin swells across Pennywise’s face.*)

(P) That’s a good brother. *pause* Where is HE *looking around*?

(G) In bed. Sick. *sad, disappointed, annoyed*

(P)Let ME... *leans in* cheer him up. I’ll bring you BOTH (*emphasis*) to the circus.

(G) He won’t want to Go (*trail on in disappointment*). *sigh*

(P) Why not *shrug*? There’s cotton candy and... (*pause*) *look around* *SERIOUS*"bearded *pause* women" and all the balloons your brother could want. (*George will act intrigued*)

(G) *sigh* He’s 13. *annoyed* He thinks balloons are dumb. And clowns are dumb.

(P) *shocked* Well *tapping foot*... YOU *pointing* don’t, do you?

(P) *Lean an uncomfortable distance forward, tone is seductive* I’ll take just you then. *hand outstretches*

(G) I don’t know. *look around* I’m not supposed to talk to strangers.

(P) *pointing in an educated manner* Smart parents, *pause* smart parents. Well I’m Bob Gray. *extend handshake* Pennywise to my friends. What do they call you? *shrugging*

(G) *shyly* G-Georgie. *slowly extends for handshake*

(P) *enthusiastically* Georgie! Now we aren’t strangers,*pause* *seductive tone activated* are we? *wink*

(P) I promise *prayer hands* I’ll have you back in time for dinner. Give me your hand *reach out hand comedically, trustworthily, open self up like heck*, we’ll SHAKE *enthusiasm* on it.

(G) You’re still a stranger. *turns away and crosses arms* I don’t want to talk to you! *childish tone*

(P) *sigh* Okay, shake and give me the silent treatment. *ZIPS MASK* Zip your lip up and shake -- *caresses boat seductively* -- and I’ll give you back YOUR *eyebrow raise* *seductive* boat.
