My name is Diego Edelman. I am contacting you in order to get answers to some questions I have regarding intellectual property.
I am a great admirer of the television series "Doctor Who", and a few weeks ago I started a project to create an independent video game based on the same with the temporary title of "Doctor Who RPG". Although still a small project, it has received the support of several followers of the show from all over the world and some of them are willing to help with its development.
Unfortunately, although I searched I did not find clear information regarding intellectual property of the characters belonging to the BBC, and being that my intention is not to generate any inconvenience or infringe any right, I proceed to write this email.
The project has no profit, and all its audiovisual content will be produced in original form by its collaborators, so the content belonging to the BBC would be the idea of the Doctor Who characters and scenarios, which would be credited propely.
I would be glad to get an answer in which it is explained if it would be possible to continue with this project, or which conditions would be necessary for its development.
Finally, I apologize for the mistakes I could have made while writing this email, since English is not my native language.
