행사 중 주목받은 프로그램으로는 홈페이지로 신청한 전국의 50가족들에게 선착순 ‘김장체험 꾸러미’(절임배추10kg, 양념4kg)를 공짜로 보내주고 김장체험 후기를 공유하는 ‘온라인 김장체험 챌린지’였다.

축제 기간뿐만 아니라 축제 기간 이후에도 온라인에서 많은 분들과 소통하고자 하는 김치축제의 의지를 담아 특별히 제작한 프로그램으로 많은 관심을 보였다.
