Romanesque Architecture
Romanesque architecture is an architectural style that developed in Western Europe between the mid-11th and the end of the middle of the medieval period. It is a blend of Gothic, Roman and Carolingian styles, as well as Turkish and local Germanic styles. However, it was a major result of the expansion of monasteries in the 10th and early llteenth century. The first buildings called catacombs were built during the Migration Period, probably around the third or fourth century, because the route of the roads of the early times was designed more for military purposes than for a religious community. The catacombs were used for burials, however.

Romanesque architecture is by far the most popular Roman influence that was left in Western Europe after the collapse of the Western Roman Empire. It was regarded as a symbol of hierarchical authority. Cathedrals, such as the one at Sirmione included a variety of Romanesque elements, like the use of the Romanesque double-tiered colonnades. Another Romanesque feature that was seen in cathedrals was the addition of a nave (or western) facing the staircase, rather than one with an entrance to the east. Throughout the West World, you will find saints' statues as well as other icons representing Romanesque art. Most modern structures in Western Europe have at least some Romanesque influence.

Romanesque architecture was widespread throughout Western Europe in the Early Middle Ages however, it was seen to disappear from Western Europe during the dark ages. Only very recently has it begun to reappear. The primary reason for this new fascination are visions of decline and destruction. Many Christian artists sought to portray the decline of Rome and the fall of Western civilization in a calamity like the Dark Ages. With the return of Western Civilization and the rise of the Feudal system of government led by the "absolutists" in Western Europe, the once flourishing Roman economy was slowing down.

These setbacks led to the rebuilding of Rome by architects inspired by Romanesque architecture. Romanesque architecture is distinguished by the design of rooms in individual rooms and the construction of areas around central areas such as the Forum. The most popular Romanesque building material is brick, however marble lime stone, sandstone limestone, and terracotta are also used. Romanesque windows and doors often bear the names of famous Romanesque cities or locations that are important to these buildings. By choosing popular Romanesque places and landmarks in the region, the Romanesque architect was in a position to incorporate other Gothic elements, such as helmet and armor symbols as well as animal skins, nails and swords.

Romanesque architecture is characterized by its use of heavy ornamentation and stylized details like pointed arches and support columns with ribbed supports. This type of architecture is characterized by concentric circles that were intentionally designed to appear circular. It is also distinguished by asymmetrical window designs and unique doors. Romanesque buildings also tend to be more secluded than other forms of architecture, which creates the impression that Romanesque architecture was designed to fit into small urban spaces. Romanesque architecture is often called "planned village" because it draws inspiration from both rural and urban life.

The most popular Romanesque architectural styles include: Tuscan, the Renaissance, Greek, and the Gothic. Each of these Romanesque architectural styles represents a major period in the history of Roman architecture. St. Gregory's Basilica and the Coliseum are among the most well-known Romanesque buildings. In Rome, Romanesque architecture can still be found in places like the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, Vatican City, and Saint Peter's Basilica.

One of the biggest differences between Romanesque architecture and other forms of architecture is the use of natural materials in the structures. The majority of buildings in Rome made use of marble as their primary material, except for the Forum. Most of the Romanesque buildings from the 16th Century included slate or tile roofs. These roofs made the upper floors much higher than the lower levels which typically had ceramic tile roofs. รับออกแบบ Romanesque architecture can also be seen throughout the city.

Modern structures like the Alhambra and the Taj Mahal, as well as the Florence Cathedral and the Universal Studios are all examples of Romanesque architecture. Modern architecture styles often incorporate Roman-inspired themes and designs which makes Romanesque architectural styles very popular. Many modern homes and buildings in Europe retain elements of Romanesque architecture. Many offices in London for instance make use of Romanesque arches, while others use Gothic and Victorian designs.
